The list above is only for the Western version of Lost Ark.
The original game of Lost Ark was launched in Korea, and that Eastern version does have Russian servers as well for those who will not be able to gain access to the Western version of this game.
Alternatively, you may wish to wait and watch to see which regions are added in the future to the Western version if you are interested in it.

FOUNDER'S PACKS ITEMS
★ I Did Not Purchase a Founder's Pack. Can I Obtain Some of the Items?
Yes. You may be able to find some of the items on the in-game Auction House.
If you did not purchase a Founder's Pack when they were available, the Auction House is the only way to obtain some of the items.
MONETARY SYSTEMS
★ What Constitutes as In-Game Money?
You can earn Gold by completing raids, completing some quests, or by using the in-game Currency Exchange and trading Royal Crystals to get Gold. With Gold, you can reforge gear for end-game content, obtain consumables, and purchase gear.
You can earn Silver by doing most in-game content. With it, you can repair gear, travel, purchase items from vendors in-game, and obtain common materials.
★ What are Crystals?
Crystals are rewards obtained through completion achievements or some quests. You can also use the in-game Currency Exchange by giving Royal Crystals to receive Crystals. Gold can also be used to purchase Crystals in this fashion. Crystals are the primary in-game currency used to obtain items such as those from Mari's Secret Store (the in-game Store).
★ What are Royal Crystals?
Royal Crystals are the only currency purchased with real-world money. They can be used to purchase in-game items, exchanged in the Currency Exchange, or to purchase cosmetic items or Crystal packages.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
★ Can I Re-Use a Character Name?
If you are level 10 or lower, you may delete a character and immediately re-use the name with no penalties.
If you are level 11 or higher, you must wait a full 60 days before you can re-use a character name. The name will be locked out during this time period for everyone attempting to make name changes or new characters. At the end of the 60-day period, the name becomes available to everyone, including you.
★ What are the Character and Stronghold Naming Restrictions?
You cannot use special characters such as !@#$%^&*()~, etc.
You cannot use spaces.
You cannot use numbers.
The only allowed capitalized letter will be the first one in the name.
Character names are restricted to between 2 - 16 characters.
Stronghold names are restricted to between 2 - 20 characters.
★ Can I Change My Character's Voice?
During character creation (and not after) you will have the option to choose one of several voices available for your character.
★ What is the Level Cap?
The current character Level Cap is 60. Each level earned after 50 grants the player additional skill points.
The current Roster Level Cap is 250. This was called the Expedition Level during Closed Beta.
★ What Classes are Available?
The best place to find information on classes is Directly from Lost Ark.
★ What is the Stronghold Knowledge Vault?
This allows you to progress a second character on your account to level 50 very quickly once you have met certain prerequisites.
In order to access the Stronghold Knowledge Vault, you must do the following on one character:
- Reach level 50.
- Complete the Stronghold quest called First Steps.
- Complete the North Vern main quest called Ealyn's Gift.
- Complete the North Vern main quest called Ealyn's Gift.
- Complete the quest offered by the Stronghold Butler (Adeline) called Nothing is Impossible for Cykins!
The Knowledge Vault will be available for North Vern up to Feiton.
You can only transfer knowledge for a single continent at a time.
Transfers go in order of the storyline, starting from North Vern.
Once knowledge transfer has begun, you cannot cancel.
You cannot do instantly complete a transfer.
You cannot use a power pass on a character that received a transfer.
GUILD INFORMATION
★ How Do I Learn Trade Skills?
- Go to Lakebar Village in West Luterra, Lakebar.
- Follow the primary questline all the way through the Crown of Lakebar quest, given by Artisan Urr.
- It is during this quest you will learn how to perform Trade Skills.
- You will be given a Guide quest called Mining, Using a Pickaxe. You should complete this quest. Note that you will still be required to purchase a Novice Mining Tool for this quest even if you already have a tool of a higher quality.
- You will also be given a Guide quest called Collecting Collectibles for Fun. You should complete this quest, but it is not required to learn Trade Skills.
- Completing the Crown of Lakebar quest will also give you a new Guide quest called Fishing, Bite the Time. Note that you will still be required to purchase a Novice Fishing Tool for this quest even if you already have a tool of a higher quality.
All materials gathered for Trade Skills will be shown under the Storage icon (a picture of a book) in your Inventory.
You can purchase trade skill tools from Nickel, the Trade Skill Tool Merchant, in Lakebar Village. Other Trade Skill Tool Merchants can be found in other places, marked with an upside down pickaxe icon on your map.
You can equip all trade skill tools at the same time.
Trade Skill Tools will need to be repaired now and then, and can be repaired at the same location as an armor repair agent.
You can pick up the Guide quest, Master Forager, after you have foraged enough plants. You will need to equip the Novice Foraging tool that Awella hands you to progress the quest.
GUILD INFORMATION
★ What are the Guild Naming Restrictions?
You cannot use special characters such as !@#$%^&*()~, etc.
You cannot use spaces.
You cannot use numbers.
The only allowed capitalized letter will be the first one in the name.
Guild names are restricted to between 2 - 20 characters.
★ How Do I Replace an Absent Guild Leader?
If the Guild Leader is absent for at least 10 days, the Deputy can be promoted to the Guild Leader position via a special system.
SCHEDULED ACTIVITY INFORMATION
★ What Are Scheduled Activities?
Scheduled activities are certain activities that are available to players and offer special rewards for participcation.
There are four types of Activies in the Compass:
* Adventure Islands
* Chaos Gates
* Field Bosses
* Ghost Ships
★ How Do I Find Activities?
Assigned activity times are based on the local time of the server's region.
Activities can be viewed in two ways:
* Open Procyon's Compass
* Open the Calendar in the top-left corner of your HUD. Doing this will display the full schedule.
Leaving the activity before it has concluded will result in your reward counter not incrementing. As a result, you will have another chance to earn a reward before that event type's expiration.
★ How Are Adventure Islands Scheduled?
The same Adventure should unlock 3 to 4 times a day.
During weekends, 2 groups of Adventure Islands will appear in the schedule.
There are two types of rewards for doing Adventures:
* Permanent Rewards are Island Tokens and Skill Runes, which are obtainable once per Roster.
* Repeatable reward are Gold, Silver, Card Packs and Pirate coins, which can be obtained once a day per Roster.
★ How Are Chaos Gates and Field Bosses Scheduled?
These activities follow a day-of-the-week schedule. They occur every hour between 10am UTC to 5am UTC on the next day.
You can participate in each activity once an hour, but you will not receive aditional rewards once you have exhausted the opportunities to do so.
You can received 1 reward per day for Field Boss and Chaos Gate activities. This will reset every morning at 10am UTC.
★ How Are Ghost Ships Scheduled?
These activities follow a day-of-the-week schedule. They occur every hour between 10am UTC to 5am UTC on the next day.
You can participate in each activity once an hour, but you will not receive aditional rewards once you have exhausted the opportunities to do so.
You can received 1 reward per week for Ghost Ship activities. This will reset every Wednesday at 10am UTC.
BASIC MISCELLANEOUS GAME INFORMATION
★ What Languages are Supported?
English, French, German, and Spanish.
★ What Options Are Available In-Game for Chatting?
Text Chat is available. This includes a Global Chat that lets you talk with people in other worlds of the same server region. Each room can hold a maximum of 100 players.
Voice Chat is available. You will not need to use your third-party software to chat to others.
★ Can I Change Fonts In-Game?
Text Chat font size can be changed. Text Chat font type cannot be changed.
You cannot change font size nor font type for anything else.
★ Can I Skip Cut-Scenes?
Some cut-scenes are skippable. Others are not.
★ I Heard Rumors About This Game Being Pay-To-Win. Are the Rumors True?
The rumors are false. In fact, Amazon Games Studio and Smilegate RPG have openly declared their Business Model for the game. Anything purchasable in the in-game store can be purchased via in-game currency.
★ Is There an In-Game Store?
Yes. There is an in-game store containing various items that include -- but are not limited to -- special skins, pets, etc.
There is also a store called Mari's Secret Store in which special items will remain for at least 72hrs before swapping out.
★ What are Server Reset Times?
Reset times are assigned to servers per region.
The in-game UI will display server time, which is set to UTC.
- Daily and Weekly Resets: 1am or 2am (depending on Daylight Savings Time and regional time where the server is located)
- Core Content Resets for US West: UTC - 7
- Core Content Resets for US East: UTC - 4
- Core Content Resets for EU Central: UTC + 1
- Core Content Resets for SA East: UTC - 3
Core Content Resets includes things such as raids, dungeons, and PvP events.
Core Content Resets example: A dungeon resets at 5pm UTC will open 4 hours later for the US East region.
If maintenance is ongoing during the time a reset normally occurs, the reset will occur directly after maintenance is completed.
★ What Versions of DirectX are Supported?
DirectX 11 is the default setting.
You can switch made to DirectX 9 if you think it will improve game performance.
- Log into the game.
- Press ESC to go to the Game Menu.
- Choose Settings (the gear icon).
- Choose the Video tab.
- Locate DirectX 9/11 mode at the top of the window displayed and toggle it to your preference.
Core Content Resets includes things such as raids, dungeons, and PvP events.
Core Content Resets example: A dungeon resets at 5pm UTC will open 4 hours later for the US East region.
If maintenance is ongoing during the time a reset normally occurs, the reset will occur directly after maintenance is completed.
★ I Want Korean Voice-Overs. How Can I Make That Happen?
Thanks to player feedback, players can select the option to use the original Korean voice over in-game alongside the available subtitles of their choice.
Korean subtitles will not be available.
You will need to first grab the free Steam DLC pack at launch.
