The Gates of Oblivion will run November 16th 2023 - November 28th 2003.

The areas that are included in this event require various DLCs to access. The following is included:

• Blackwood - Requires the Blackwood DLC
  
  
• The Deadlands / Fargrave - Requires the Deadlands DLC
  
  
• Rockgrove - A Trial located in Blackwood; requires the Blackwood DLC
  
  

1. If you would like to do the festival intro quest, accept the free Burdensome Beasts quest from the crown store. This is not a requirement.

2. Head to Blackwood and speak to Plokun in the wilderness. Find the items he wants and then use the compass. You will need to proceed to five different locations in Blackwood to retrieve the creatures in question.

3. Return to Plokun and help to complete the spell.

Choose one of the following activities to receive two tickets per account for the day:

• Complete Blackwood Daily Delve or World Boss Quests offered in Leyawiin, Blackwood.
  
  
• Complete Fargrave / Deadlands Daily Delve or World Boss Quests offered in Fargrave, The Deadlands.
  
  
• Complete the weekly Rockgrove Trial quest in Blackwood.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Black Drake Villa four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the The Cauldron four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Dread Cellar four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Red Petal Bastion four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  

You do have the option to purchase Event Tickets for Crowns from the Crown Store for Crowns.

All Blackwood Delve and World Boss daily quests give double the daily reward coffers.

All Fargrave/Deadlands world boss and delve daily quests give double the daily reward coffers.

The Dreadsail Reef weekly quest gives double the weekly reward coffers.

Blackwood and Deadlands Enemies have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Pickpocketing has a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Psijic Portals have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Resource Nodes have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Safeboxes have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Thieves Troves have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Treasure Chests have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Containers (Bags, Sacks, etc.) have a chance to drop a purple Steadfast's Munificence Coffer.

Blackwood and Deadlands Public Dungeon bosses give double the loot

Blackwood and Deadlands Trial bosses give double the loot

The first daily quest associated to the event you complete each day will award a Gold Glorious Coffer. Completing additional associated quests awards Purple Gorious Coffers. The activites that you may complete to earn boxes are:

• Complete Blackwood Daily Delve or World Boss Quests offered in Leyawiin, Blackwood.
  
  
• Complete Fargrave/Deadlands Daily Delve or World Boss Quests offered in Fargrave, The Deadlands.
  
  
• Complete the weekly Rockgrove Trial quest in Blackwood.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Black Drake Villa four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the The Cauldron four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Dread Cellar four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  
• Kill and loot the final boss in the Red Petal Bastion four-person DLC dungeon.
  
  

Just like with the Undaunted event, where you get the coffer depends upon its name. The first of these activities you complete in each zone will award you a golden Glorious Coffer by that name (e.g., Blackwood Glorious Coffer). Completing further activities in the list on any character that day will reward additional purple Glorious Coffers.

There is a higher chance to receive the good stuff on the first zone coffer you get each day.

The first final dungeon boss of any of the dungeons will give you a golden Glorious Coffer named for that dungeon.

In total, you can only earn two golden Glorious Coffers per day as a result: One from Zone content and one from Dungeon content.

Special Note: Veteran Dungeon final bosses drop two boxes to account for their higher difficulty. If one of these would be eligible for being Glorious, you will get one Glorious and one regular.

You may also obtain additional purple Glorious Coffers by doing the following:

• Kill Blackwood public dungeon bosses (The Silent Halls and Zenithar's Abbey).
  
  
• Kill Oblivion Portal bosses.
  
  
• Loot the final chest after killing an Oblivion Portal boss.
  
  
• Kill random enemies in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.
  
  
• Loot Treasure Chests in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.
  
  
• Loot Safeboxes in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.
  
  
• Loot Resource Nodes in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.
  
  
• Loot Thieves' Troves in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.
  
  
• Pickpocket NPCs in Blackwood and Fargrave / The Deadlands.

Special Note Concerning the Companion Commendations: First introduced during the 2022 Zeal of Zenithar event, these Commendations will advance a single companion up one rank in the chosen guild. You must have the chosen companion out when you purchase these. For example, if I wish to advance Bastian's Mages Guild rank from rank 4 to rank 6, I will need to bring Bastian out and then purchase the Companion Mages Guild Commendation twice for a total of 10 tickets.

Gates of Oblivion Grab Bag: This will contain items from a previous year's celebration that you do not already own.

Introducing Nenulaure, the brand new Indrik Vendor! Located at the festival tents area in Belkarth, Craglorn, Nenulaure is here to help you obtain those Indrik Mounts and Pets.

This vendor will only appear during Events when the Impressario is in town.

Past fragments and berries required to obtain those Mounts, as well as past Indrik pets, will be on offer in a seasonal cycle. Here is how that will work:

• During the Spring, all berries for the Dawnwood and Spectral Indriks are on offer.
  
  
• During the Spring, the Springtide Indrik pet and Haunting Indrik pet are on offer.
  
  
• During the Summer, all berries for the Luminous and Icebreath Indriks are on offer.
  
  
• During the Summer, the Shimmering Indrik pet and Rimedusk Indrik pet are on offer.
  
  
• During the Fall, before the Witches Festival, all berries for the Onyx and Mossheart Indriks are on offer.
  
  
• During the Fall, before the Witches Festival, the Ebon-Glow Indrik pet and Sapling Indrik pet are on offer.
  
  
• During the Winter, after the Witches Festival and through to the end of the year, all berries for the Pure Snow and Crimson Indriks are on offer.
  
  
• During the Winter, after the Witches Festival and through to the end of the year, the Frost-Light Indrik pet and Rosethorn Indrik pet are on offer.

All berries and pets available will cost 10 tickets each.

Nascent Indrik Feathers will always be available through her, no matter the season, for 5 tickets each.

Unlike in the past, there will not be an offering of all Indriks during the New Life Festival.

If you miss all of the berries you need, fear not, for the vendor will be around again the following year.

The Passion Dancer Blossom pet is the very first new special item added in 2023 via the Impressario during events.

To obtain one, you have to purchase a total of three fragments from the Impressario for five tickets each.

• Chartreuse Lily Petals
• Enchanted Silver Flute
• Mystical Sheet Music

Once you have all of them purchased, open your Collections menu and navigate down on the left side to the Fragments menu. Click the name of the item you are looking for to see what fragments are required. Right-click on one of the fragment pieces and left-click on Combine to make them whole.

If you wish to retain the pet as well as obtain one of the morphs from it, you will need to complete one of these pets again. Each time you create a new morph, you will use one of these pets as part of the process.

This skin is the fourth morph of the Passion Dancer Blossom pet of 2023. You will need the following pieces to create this morph:

• A completed Passion Dancer Blossom pet
• Blessed Honecomb
• Gilded and Dyed Saddle [NEW!]
• Sorcerous Golden Ink [Not Yet Available]

To obtain the three Passion Dancer Garment costume fragments, you need to purchase the appropriate items from the Impressario for 10 tickets each when they become available and combine them.

To combine them, open your Collections menu and navigate down on the left side to the Fragments menu. Click the name of the item you are looking for to see what fragments are required. Right-click on one of the fragment pieces and left-click on Combine to make them whole.
