Before you take up a banner and begin performing daily quests in Cyrodiil OR Imperial City, you must unlock them. The unlock quests are very easy quests that do not require you to do much.

Unlocking the daily quests on one character will not unlock them on subsequent characters.

The unlock quests do not require you to PvP.

Though it is not required, consider not skipping the intro quests if you are new to Cyrodiil, as the unlock quests tell you more about Cyrodiil and how it works.

To unlock the quests, you must go to a certain place depending upon your Alliance:

• Aldmeri Dominion: Characters must go to Western Elsweyr Gate and speak with both Alcarin and Captain Mulamurr to receive the unlock quests for both Cyrodiil and Imperial City dailies.
  
  
• Daggerfall Covenant: Characters must go to Northern High Rock Gate and speak with both Captain Alesace and Zahreh to receive the unlock quests for both Cyrodiil and Imperial City dailies.
  
  
• Ebonheart Pact: Characters must go to Northern Morrowind Gate and speak with both Captain Rythe and Olvyia Indaram to receive the unlock quests for both Cyrodiil and Imperial City dailies.

If for some reason you are in an absolute rush and cannot complete the unlock quest, you can speak to the Grand Warlord to skip the Imperial City unlock quest requirement.

Please note that you must have the Bounty Hunter passive from the Fighters Guild skill line to be able to perform Bounty Missions.

To find the quest givers, access the ladders in your Alliance Base of Operations. Daggerfall Covenant characters will start on the western end of the sewers, Ebonheart Pact on the north end, and Aldmeri Dominion on the eastern end.These ladders for the quest NPCs take you to to safe locations where you can pick up the quests. Be aware that the moment you leave the quest NPC's location to venture further into Imperial City you are no longer safe.

The following quests may be picked up in Imperial City. You must Unlock These Daily Quests before you can do these. Simply scale the ladder in your Alliance Base for the appropriate district to find a waiting quest giver:

• Bounty Mission Board: A bounty mission offered by the bounty mission board inside your Alliance City base in the sewers themselves.
  
  
• Dousing the Fires of Industry: Offered by Quintia Rullus in the Elven Gardens District. Kill four ballistae there then destroy the Great Forge with a barrel of tar
  
  
• Historical Accuracy: Offered by Loncano in the Arboretum District. Kill five flame atronachs or daedroth to obtain documents there.
  
  
• The Lifeblood of an Empire: Offered by Valga Atrius in the Arena District. Save twelve citizens there. If you kill one enemy close to the citizen, that will save the citizen.
  
  
• Priceless Treasures: Offered by Sister J'Reeza in the Temple District. Grab a bottle of ritual wine and kill grevious twilight enemies there to obtain grevious claws. Afterward, perform the required ritual.
  
  
• Scounting Mission Board: Offered by the scouting board inside your Alliance City base in the sewers themselves.
  
  
• Speaking for the Dead: Offered by Legate Gallus in the Memorial District. Kill two xivkyn enemies then plant charged geodes on skeletal laborers there.
  
  
• Watch Your Step: Offered by Brihana in the Nobles District. Kill some Legion Zero soldiers then bait four traps for ogrims there.
