You will find Crafting Writ boards in most zones. They will always be located in the one major city of the zone.

There are some zones that do not have Crafting Writ daily quest boards:

• Artaeum (see Summerset)
• Bal Foyen
• Betnikh
• Blackreach (see Western Skyrim)
• Bleakrock Isle
• Clockwork City
• Cyrodiil
• Deadlands
• Fargrave
• Galen (see High Isle)
• Gold Coast
• Imperial City
• Khenarthi's Roost
• Murkmire
• Norg-Tzel (see Murkmire)
• The Reach
• South Elsweyr
• Stros M'Kai

Your character must be level 6 before it will have access to these crafting writ dailies.

Only crafting writs that you have unlocked will appear on the Crafting Writ boards; so if you have not unlocked Jewelry writs, they will not appear on the Equipment board until you do so.

If you have an unfinished quest for the consumables writs (Alchemist, Enchanter) in your quest log, you will not be able to pick up this quest.

You can unlock these three types of crafting writs in one of two ways:

• Either reach Level 6 on your character (the character level; not the Crafting level) and complete the Crafting Certification quest. To obtain the quest, simply go to an Equipment Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• or reach Level 6 on your character (the character level; not the Crafting level), Deconstruct enough material to reach Level 10 in a crafting discipline (you can still be level 6 on your character), and then go find either Millenith or Danel Telleno in the crafting area of a major city that has crafting writ boards to receive the Crafting Certification certificate.

Once you complete one of these two steps, you will have unlocked these writ dailies.

If you have an unfinished quest for the equipment writs (Blacksmithing, Clothier, Woodworker but not Jewelry) in your quest log, you will not be able to pick up this quest.

You can unlock these three types of crafting writs in one of two ways:

• Either reach Level 6 on your character (the character level; not the Crafting level) and complete the Crafting Certification quest. To obtain the quest, simply go to an Consumables Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• or reach Level 6 on your character (the character level; not the Crafting level), Deconstruct enough material to reach Level 10 in a crafting discipline (you can still be level 6 on your character), and then go find either Millenith or Danel Telleno in the crafting area of a major city that has crafting writ boards to receive the Crafting Certification certificate.
  
  

Once you complete one of these two steps, you will have unlocked these writ dailies.

Unlike with the other writ unlocks, you are not hindered from picking up this quest if you have an active quest for the other writs.

You must have a level 6 character and access to the Summerset DLC in order to do the jewelry crafting writs.

To unlock these writs, go to Alinor, Summerset and speak with Felarian. You will find this NPC dressed in a purple suit and standing under a large tree to the left of the entrance to the Plaza of the Hand (the crafting writs area on the southwest corner of the city). You will need to complete his Crafting Certification quest.

Jewelry crafting writs are now unlocked.

There are seven types of Crafting Dailies:

• Alchemist - Listed on the Consumables Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Blacksmith - Listed on the Equipment Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Clothier - Listed on the Equipment Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Enchanter - Listed on the Consumables Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Jewelry - Listed on the Equipment Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Provisioner - Listed on the Consumables Crafting Writs board.
  
  
• Woodworker - Listed on the Equipment Crafting Writs board.

Unlike other daily quests, you may pick up every single one of these quests once a day per character. So, if you have three characters, each one of them can complete a crafting daily for all seven types.

These dailies are listed on the Crafting Writs boards of the one major city in each zone (except for the places they are not. See the note above on board locations).

Only crafting writs that you have Unlocked will appear on these boards; so if you have not unlocked Jewelry, it will not appear on the Equipment board until you do so.

You will always be offered one of several random daily crafting quests that matches to your skill level in the crafting discipline. As you level your crafting, the dailies that you are offered, though still varied, require more and more advanced material.

Unlike other daily quests, completing these does not give you standard experience points for your character. Rather, it gives you an amount of crafting experience that is applied toward your level in that crafting discipline. So, if you turn in a quest for blacksmithing, you will receive crafting experience for your blacksmithing skill.
